My thoughts and prayers to Almeda's family. I worked with Almeda at APD. She was a wonderful woman and friend to so many of us. She was a mentor and friend to young police officers, and I will always remember her great sense of humor. She and Iris had the best stories to tell of their experiences as "Lady Cops". I will never forget her kind and generous nature. RIP my friend.

Almeda was always such a sweetheart. I am so sad to hear she has passed. I have some sweet childhood memories of her. I am praying for all of the family. Heaven has surely gained an angel. Love to all.
