Barbara Edith (Lacey) Cordell

Barbara Edith Lacey Cordell, 71, of Asheville passed away Friday, February 16, 2018 at Mission Hospital. She was born in Orpington, England on November 25, 1946. She was the daughter of the late Benjamin Charles and Edith Louisa Powell Lacey and wife of the late Charles W. Cordell who died on October 14, 2010. She was a home maker for her husband and mother to her children. She is survived by her son, Jesse J. Cordell and his wife, Jerri of Asheville; her daughter, Christina C. Odom and her husband David of Candler; and three grandchildren, Conner and Carson Cordell and Lacey Odom all of Asheville. 
A private family gathering will be held at a later date.
