Benjamin Keith Wooten

Benjamin Keith Wooten, 35, of Weaverville, passed away on May 10, 2017 at his home. He is survived by; his father Robert Wooten (Pamela) of Weaverville; his mother Charlotte E. Corn (Dale) of Hendersonville; his sons Kaiden Benjamin and Elijah Wooten of Asheville; his siblings Robert R. Wooten III of Hendersonville and Jacqueline Ragan of Asheville; and his grandmother Geraldine "Gerry" Helms of Asheville.

Benjamin worked at the Asheville Fire Department. He attended Fellowship Baptist Church. He loved his boys and his boys loved him. He loved to play basketball and baseball. He loved to watch sports on TV. He loved to work with his hands.

 A service will be held at Penland Family Funeral Home in Swannanoa on Tuesday, May 16 at 2pm with the Reverend Zane Edmonds officiating. A visitation will take place on Monday from 6-8pm. Burial will take place at Union Chapel Baptist Church.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to offset funeral costs.
