To the family of Fred Ballard, I am so sorry for the loss of your loved one.  I went to school with Fred from elementary school all the way through high school.  We graduated together in the Class of 74.  I also knew him through Ingles as I also worked there many years. He was such a quiet, nice, soft spoken and most handsome man.  I hated to hear that he had to suffer through such a terrible disease as cancer. He is with the Lord now and not suffering anymore.  Please know I will always remember such a kind and hard working friend.  Your family will be in my thoughts and in my prayers.  Knowing he is with Jesus is our hope now. Will be thinking of your family as you face these difficult days ahead.  May God give you the strength that you will need at this time.  Teressa Tipton Warren

Dear Family, I  am so sorry to hear of Fred's passing. He was such a quiet and gentle man. We went all through school together, and had not seen him since graduating, until 3 or 4 years ago. We spoke on several occasions after that. Fred always remained that same quiet, sweet spirit. I had asked at Ingles from time to time about him, and how he was doing. Please know you are in my thoughts and prayers.

I am so sorry to hear about Fred. I didn't know till after the service. I am so sorry for your family. I know Fred went through a lot with his illness. Fred was a great guy.  My prayers and thoughts are with you all. If you need anything please let me know.

I haven't seen Fred since right after graduation, but certainly enjoyed his friendship while we were at Enka. He was a very likable guy with a warm smile and a quick laugh! My sincere condolences go out to the family. That impression he made over 44 years ago was strong and lasting!

I have known Fred for the last 25 years working with him at Ingles. What a blessing Fred was working beside him and getting to know him as a close friend. I am thankful that Fred was ready to meet the Lord Jesus and that he is not having any more pain and suffering. My deepest prayers are with his family. John 5:24.

We had not seen Fred in a long time and were so sorry to hear about his passing.  All of us went through school together and graduation from ENKA.  He was always such a nice guy and we know he will be missed.

It's been a very long time since I had seen Fred.
We worked together at Ingle's Skyland for several years
and
after I left that store, I lost track of several people.
So sorry for your loss.
