Jakey Sevier Cole III

Jakey Sevier Cole III, 57, of Asheville passed away on September 2, 2017 at the John F. Keever Jr. Solace Center. He was the son of Jakey Cole Jr. and Geraldine Anders Cole. He is survived by; his siblings Diane Shelton (David) of Alexander, Stanley Cole of Arden and Richard Cole (Shanan) of Canton, NC; five nieces, two nephews, five great nieces and four great nephews.

Jakey enjoyed crossword puzzles, camping, and playing video games and was a trivia whiz. He family would like to thank his caring friend, Mike Black. His funeral service will be held Friday September 8, 2017 at 2:00 in the chapel of Penland Family Funeral Home with Rev. Phillip Youngblood officiating. Burial will follow in Green Hills Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour before the service at the funeral home.
