Janice Marie (Patton) Rogers

    Janice Patton Rogers, 81, of Swannanoa, NC, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Sunday, November 19, 2017. She was born October 20, 1936 to the late Clifford Talmage and Ava Mae Harvey Patton and a native of Buncombe County. Janice was a lead inspector in the textile industry and attended Eagle Rock Church. She was a loving mother, wife, and grandmother. She loved camping in her camper and loved to play the piano and the organ. Janice also traveled and moved a number of times with her first husband. She also loved her cat, Precious. She is preceded in death by her first husband, Marine Corp Sgt. JD Goodman, second husband W.C. Rogers; son Jay David Goodman; daughter Charlotte Lynn Goodman and beautiful granddaughter Amber Dawi. Janice is survived by her son Mikey Goodman and his wife Portia; son Tommy Goodman; daughters, Debra Dawi and her husband Wilfred and Donna Ray and her husband Donald; grandchildren, Brian Dawi, Holly Rogers, Katie Rogers, Tiffany McKinney, Cecelia Corn; great-grandchildren, Jack Robinson, Kaylee Mode, Reno Raines and Haley Corn.
