Jeffrey Allen James, 58, resident of Leicester, WENT HOME on April 27, 201. He was the son of the late Frank and Ina Belle Littrell James.  He is preceded in death by his brothers Jimmy, John, Ralph and his sister Delores. He worked for Yellow Cab, Blue Bird Taxi, and Penland Family Funeral Home. He is survived by: sister Frankie and brothers Rex (Ruth), Harold (Freda), and Robert (Pauline); stepsons Patrick and David (Autumn); step-grandchildren Ryan and Kevin; and several nieces and nephews.

Jeffrey loved the Lord, started church at Asheville Health Care Center. He was a member of Woodland Terrace Baptist Church. A visitation will be held at Grace United Methodist Church at 2:00PM on Sunday, April 30, 2017. A service will be held at 3:00PM.
