Kathy Ann Pack Justice, 57, of Asheville, passed away January 31, 2017 at Mission Memorial Hospital.

Kathy was born March 31, 1959 in Bat Cave to the late Thomas Pack and Dovie Lofton Pack. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her late husband, Danny Justice; and siblings, Dorothy Dockery, Barbara Craig, and Theodore Pack.

Kathy, fondly known as "Mama" and "Nana" was a little woman with a big personality. She had a big heart and open arms for anybody, especially children.

Survivors include her two daughters, Loretta French (Tony) of Kodak, TN, and Linda Justice-Riddle (Joey) of Fairview; siblings, Johnny Pack, Brenda Anderson, James Pack, Thomas Pack II, Troy Pack, and Helen Moore; grandchildren, Destinie Getchey (Danny) of Black Mountain, Malachi French of Kodak, TN, Bridgett Riddle and Alyssa Riddle both of Fairview; great-grandchild, Maylien Gridley of Black Mountain; her "Uncle Bobo" of Black Mountain; and a special niece, Patricia Ball.

A funeral service will be held Saturday, Feb. 11 at 2:00 PM at Laurel Springs Church, 677 Morgan Hill Rd., Fairview, NC 28730 with Revs. Edgar Waters and Larry Bopp officiating. The family will receive friends Friday, Feb. 10 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Penland Family Funeral Home in Swannanoa.
