Kristen Sarah McShane is lovingly remembered by her family and many friends. She was a beautiful, generous, lively, woman whose eyes twinkled with mischief, laughter, and deep love for her children. 
 

She was born in Asheville, NC, and graduated from TC Roberson High School. Her childhood was divided between Asheville, NC and Las Vegas, NV. She spent much of her adult life in Florida. 
 

She was a loving mother to two beautiful children whom she leaves behind. She is also survived by her Mother, Andrea Day and Step-Father, Steven Day; Father, Floyd Myers and Step-Mother, Penny Myers; Sisters Kelly Myers Moffatt, Kari Myers and Katie Myers and Brother Samuel Myers. 
 

Kristen was a warrior in the fight against Cystic Fibrosis, from which her youngest child suffers. She had great strength in this battle and spent many hours educating herself on every new development in CF research and treatment. 
 

The staggering outpouring of love and support we have received speaks to the great impact she had on the many lives she touched. 
 

Kristen received salvation through Christ and was baptized at age 13. We take comfort in the knowledge that she has been renewed to full life with our Savior, Christ Jesus.

Services will be held at Sandy Springs First Baptist Church in Rutherfordton, NC on Monday January 23rd at 2:00 PM with Rev. Phil Bailey officiating. A visitation for family and friends will begin half an hour before the service.
