Mollie Sue Thomas

Mollie Sue Thomas, 89, passed away on Wednesday, December 20, 2017 at Mountain Ridge Wellness Center in Black Mountain. She was born on June 22, 1928 in Burke County, NC to the late Robert E. and Elizabeth Boley Patton. Mollie was a homemaker and was the widow of Roy V. Thomas. She is survived by her three sons, Robert Thomas (Denise) of Fairview, Ray Thomas of Swannanoa, and Tony Thomas (Tracey) of Swannanoa; grandchildren, Heather, Chris, Andy, Alisha, Tyler, Casey, and Preston; and three great grandchildren. 
A funeral service will be held at 2:00pm on Saturday, December 23, 2017 at the Penland Family Funeral Home Chapel. Officiating the service will be Rev. Robert Thomas and Rev. Chris Thomas.
