Teresa was like a member of our family. She shared in every special event in our life, from making sure we looked good to actually being there to celebrate with us. It is hard to think what life will be like without her. Over the years we talked about so many things!
One thing about her, she never wasted a day God gave her to my knowledge. She was grateful, considerate of others, humble and kind with a heart full of love.. We've known Teresa for almost 25 years. It was not until a few months, ago she showed me a picture of her family home she grew up in on Montford. It was stunning!! If I had grown up in such a place I might have been a little bostful, but not her. We had the sweetest discussion about her neighborhood that day and she shared some funny memories. There was something about a little boy being taught a lesson that involved breaking a window????
We talked about softball. I'll bet she would have been fun to watch on the field. She really enjoyed watching her granddaughter play and was so proud.
No doubt who her first priority was: her family. Rightfully so! She lit up when she spoke about each of them.
I believe in her last days, her family was foremost on her mind. To me, she was the ultimate example of grace and inner strength. .
She was so good to us and never missed a chance to let us know she cared. We were lucky to know her. I just hope she knew just how much we loved and treasured her.
To her family, know that the lessons she taught you will continue to help you in life. Know that in time, peace will come. Our thoughts are with you. .

So sorry for your loss. Prayers to all of you. Joshua and Jordan remembers when Teresa cut Jordan's hair and then offered them both a sucker. She will truly be missed.
