Ardis Gwendolyn Goeser
Black Mountain – Ardis Gwendolyn Goeser, 94, passed away Monday, August 20, 2012, at the Highland Farms Retirement Community.
A native of Dawson, MN, Ardis was born to the late Guy and Ada Peterson Hubbs. She is also predeceased by her husband Paul Albert Goeser. Ardis was the First woman in her hometown of Marengo, IL to attend and graduate college. She had a successful, professional career as a dietician, and was a dedicated mother to her 2 adopted children.
Ardis is survived by her two sons, David Goeser (Louise) of Mexico City, Mexico, and James Goeser of Palm Springs, CA; 4 granddaughters, Kathleen Couzens (Stephen) of Allen, TX, Jennifer Mendola (Ed) of Cranberry Township, PA, Elizabeth Womack (Chris) Quitman, LA, and Caroline Dahlquist of Pittsburgh, PA; and 5 great-grandchildren, Trevor Mendola, Cason Womack, Abigail Couzens, Clara Womack, and Natalie Couzens.
Services will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Highland Farms Retirement Community.
