Clarence Marvin Lively Jr.

Clarence Marvin Lively Jr., 62, of Asheville, passed away on Sunday, January 21, 2018 at the JFK Solace Center in Asheville. He was born on April 3, 1955 in Atlanta, GA to the late Clarence Marvin Sr. and Lily Berdine Jarrard Lively. Clarence worked as a plumber and attended Sunrise Baptist Church in Asheville. He is survived by his companion of 28 years, Martha Smart; his son, Phillip Lively of Ft. Pierce, FL; his daughters, Reanah Marsee of Asheville, Donna K. Ridgeway of Lexington, SC, Virginia Mae Ramirez of Ft. Pierce; his brothers, Lawrence Hutchinson (Trudy) of Candler and James Hutchinson (Cathy) of Asheville; his sisters, Keta Wheeler (Larry) of Candler and Sally Colemon (Larry) of Asheville; eleven grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00pm on Thursday, January 25, 2018 at Sunrise Baptist Church in Asheville. Rev. Stanley Taylor will be officiating the service. Penland Family Funeral Home is honored to be serving the Lively family.
