Deborah Ann Walker

Deborah Ann Walker, 34, of Black Mountain passed away on Saturday, June 3, 2017. Deborah is preceded in death by her father Leonard Ball, husband James Roy Walker, Jr. and favorite aunt Kathy Justice. She was loved by many. Deborah was a good mama and was very close to her cousins Loretta French and Linda Justice.  Deborah is survived by her son James Raymond Walker of Black Mountain; mother Patricia "Pat" Ball; maternal grandfather Samuel “Sam” Craig of Black Mountain; and siblings David Ball of Candler, William Ball of Black Mountain, and Marsha Ball of Black Mountain.

A service will be held at Penland Family Funeral Home on Sunday, June 11, 2017 at 2 PM with the Reverend Edgar Waters officiating. Deborah will be laid to rest with her husband following the service at Cane Creek Cemetery in Fairview. The family will receive friends Saturday from 6-8:30 PM.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Penland Family Funeral Home to offset funeral expenses.
