Denise (Kuykendall) Taylor

       Denise Kuykendall Taylor, age 55, of Arden, NC, passed away on Sunday, January 13, 2019 at the JFK Solace Center in Asheville, NC. She was born on March 6, 1963 in Buncombe County to the late Roy L. and Gladale "Laura" Brown Kuykendall. Denise worked as a hostess at a restaurant and was of the Baptist Faith. She is survived by her son, Roy Lee Taylor of Roxboro, NC; her daughter, Kayla Ruth Taylor of Roxboro, NC; her special sister, Sara Setzer of Pisgah Forest; and her brothers, Gary Lee Kuykendall (Vicki) of Swannanoa and Lewis Howard Kuykendall (Becky) of Horseshoe, NC.
       A memorial service will be held in the Penland Family Funeral Home chapel at 4pm, Friday, January 18, 2019. The family will be receiving friends from 3pm-4pm in the Penland's chapel. Rev. Jason Bartlett will be officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the John F. Keever Jr. Solace Center at 21 Belvedere Road, Asheville, NC 28803.
