Evelyn L (Plemmons) Jackson

    Evelyn Plemmons Jackson, 87, of James Island, South Carolina went to be with the Lord on Friday, August 17, 2018. She was born in Sprague, West Virginia to Jacob Osborne Plemmons and Lilly Mae Shelton. She was the youngest of her three siblings. 

She was proceeded in death by her husband of 54 years, Duane (Red) Jackson; and her brothers, Fremont and Calvin Plemmons. 

She is survived by her daughter, Nancy (Michael) Dixon; granddaughter, Nicole Baker Staubes (Keller); two grandchildren, Emmalynn and Tripp; and her brother, Edward Plemmons.

Evelyn was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.

A memorial service will be held in the chapel of the Western North Carolina Veteran's Cemetery at 10:00 am on Tuesday August 21,2018.
