A memorial service for Jason Edward Glenn, of Asheville, will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Sunday, March 11, at the Haywood Street Congregation at 297 Haywood Street. Jason was born on January 20, 1983, in Marion, NC, and attended Owen High School. Through all the struggles and challenges in his life, Jason loved, and was loved by, a strong circle of family and friends. He is survived by his mother, Ann Strickland of Asheville, and children Haley, Jarod, and Isabella Glenn, all of Asheville, and John Cook of Anchorage, Alaska; aunt and uncle Meredith and Robin Glenn, cousins Aaron Glenn, and Kara Glenn, all of Black Mountain. Jason also had a special bond with his cousin Kyle Glenn of Black Mountain. He was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth Eugene Glenn, and brother, Matthew Garrett Strickland.
