Johnny F. Freshour

     Johnny Floyd Freshour, 76, passed away Sunday, October 29, 2017 at Oak Grove Health Care in Rutherfordton, NC.  He was a native of McDowell County, born on June 29, 1941 and son of the late Floyd and Doshia Fender Freshour. Johnny was the owner and operator of Freshour's Markets, Old Fort Supermarket and East Court Market and a veteran of the US Marine Corps. He is survived by wife, Betty Jean Hughes; sons, Russell Freshour of Marion, Marcus Freshour of Marion; daughter, Pam Freshour of Marion; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
