Robert Allison Lutz

      Robert Allison Lutz, 65, of Fairview, NC, died on October 20, 2018. Robert was born June 1, 1953 in Pittsburgh, PA to Robert Leroy Lutz and Alice Hill Lutz.

      During his life Robert worked as the owner and operator of a local construction company Lutz Home Repairs. As well, he and his wife, Jill Lutz, both delivered newspapers for the Asheville Citizen Times for 40 years. He was also a member of the Cane Creek Baptist Church in Fairview.

      Robert is predeceased by both his parents, as well as his brother, Jim Lutz, who passed away in 2001. 

      He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Jill Angel Lutz; his two sons, Adam Lutz of Fairview, NC and Wesley Lutz (Karina) of Hendersonville, NC; brother Gerald Lutz of Massachusetts; sister Sharon Lutz of Leicester, NC; and two granddaughters, Madilynn Grace Davis of Leicester, NC and Hannah Noel Heetderks of Atlanta, GA.

      A memorial service is planned for November 2, 2018 at 2:00pm, to be held at Cane Creek Baptist Church Rev. Norris Wright will officiate. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donation be made to the American Diabetics Association at 2434 Hudson Road #154 Greer SC 29650.
