Stacey Dannielle (Orlikowski) Messer

     Stacey Dannielle Orlikowski Messer, 42, of Candler, NC, passed away on Friday, June 1, 2018 at her residence in Candler. She was born on May 9, 1976 in Ft. Lauderdale, FL to Kenneth John Orlikowski and Beth Scott Calloway. Stacey worked as an office manager for Broad River Rehab in Asheville and attended James Chapel Baptist Church in Clyde, NC. She is survived by her husband, Scottie Messer of Waynesville; her mother, Beth and step-father, Tim Calloway of Swannanoa; her father, Kenneth John Orlikowski of Waynesville; her sons, Zachary Tanner Messer and Avery Jace Messer, both of Waynesville; brothers, Kenneth J. Orlikowski (Hannah) of Waynesville, Joshua R. Orlikowski and Drew Matthew Orlikowski, both of Swannanoa; nieces, Paige Orlikowski, Allie Orlikowski, Andie Orlikowski, and Kylie Orlikowski; nephew, Josh Orlikowski; and her special friend, Brian Graves of Candler, NC.
     A funeral service will be held at 2pm, Thursday, June 7, 2018 at East Asheville United Methodist Church. The family will be receiving friends an hour before the service from 1pm-2pm. Rev. Kerri Purselle will be officiating. Burial will follow the service at Sky View Memorial Park in Asheville. Penland Family Funeral Home is honored to be caring for the Messer/Orlikowski Family.
