Thomas Wiley Hinshaw, Jr.

     Thomas “Tommy” Wiley Hinshaw Jr., 89, of Fairview, passed away on Friday, August 10, 2018. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Patricia Dixon Hinshaw; daughters, Denise Monk and Pamela Gibson and her husband, David; son, Steve Hinshaw; grandsons, Jeremy Hinshaw and Brandon Faulkner; granddaughter, Ashley Bell and her husband Michael; and great grandchildren, Hazel and Amelia Hinshaw. Thomas was an insurance man and owned and operated Messer-Hinshaw Insurance agency in Asheville.

            A private graveside service will be held at 11am, Friday, August 17, 2018 at Bethany Methodist Church in Fairview. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Four Seasons Compassion Care Elizabeth House at 571 South Allen Road, Flat Rock, NC 28731.
