Wayne Gaddis Ramsey

Wayne Gaddis Ramsey, 66, of Asheville, NC, passed away Wednesday, January 17, 2018 at Charles George VA Medical Center in Asheville. Wayne was born on December 16, 1951 in Gaston County, NC to the late Robert Fulton and Peggy Jo Jean Mills Ramsey. He was a US Army Veteran and was active duty during the Vietnam era. Wayne had an extreme love for music. It was his passion. He was an excellent guitarist and also enjoyed fishing and spending time with his friends. He is survived by his son, Eric Todd Ramsey of Gastonia; his brother, Robert F. Ramsey Jr. of Texas; and his uncle, Harold Ramsey of Belmont. Mr. Ramsey's ashes will be buried at the VA Cemetery in Asheville, NC.
 

A graveside service will be held at 12:00pm on Tuesday, January 30, 2018 at the VA Cemetery in Asheville, NC. Chaplin C. Garland Vance is officiating the service. Funeral Honors will be conducted by the NC National Guard. Memorials may be made to ArtSpace Charter School Music Program at www.artspacecharter.org.
