Aaron Lamar Harden

            Aaron Lamar Harden of Swannanoa, North Carolina, died on January 27, 2025. Born to Emma Gilley Threatt and Deleon Washington Harden on August 6, 1933, he was ninety-one years old. He was a gardener and landscaper and served in the United States Navy during the Korean War.

            In addition to his parents, Aaron was preceded in death by his wife of twenty-two years, Dorothy Harden.

            He is survived by his wife, Hazel Vess Harden, to whom he has been married ten years; his son, David Lamar Harden; his wife, Melody Harden; and other family.

            A service will be held at Western Carolina State Veterans Cemetery at two o’clock the afternoon of Monday, February 10, 2025.
