Aldina Marie (Cooper) Jackson

Aldina Marie Cooper Jackson, age 64 , of Asheville, NC, passed away on Friday, May 6, 2022, at Mission Hospital in Asheville.

Dina was born on December 9, 1957, in Cleveland, OH to the late Charles Cooper and Lora Ann Turk Cooper. She worked at Electrolux in Asheville.

Dina was a beautiful person inside and out. She loved to have fun and laughed a lot with her family and friends. When she was a young child, she started rescuing animals. She really loved animals and has helped rescue many of them throughout her lifetime. Dina was a kind and generous soul. She will be missed deeply by those who knew and loved her.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are her sister, Vicki (William) Crutcher, of White Bluff, TN; brother, Joey Cooper of Mt. Juliet, TN; niece, Jennifer (Jason) White of Arlington, TN; nephew, Evan Courson of Dickson, TN; best friend, Melissa (Chris) Crouch, of Savannah, GA; and former husband, Jerry Jackson of Asheville, NC.

A Celebration of Dina’s Life will be announced by the family at a later date.
