Amanda (Miller) Gunn

Amanda Miller Gunn of Fletcher, NC passed away on Wednesday, February 9, 2022 at Mission Hospital 

in Asheville, NC, surrounded by the love and in the presence of her family.

 

Amanda was born in Buncombe County to Gary Miller and Annette Powlas Miller on March 27, 1977.

She attended Trinity of Fairview Church, loved being on the Lake, Sports and Animals.

Amanda was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister and dedicated educator.

She taught for 22 years at Estes Elementary School.

 

Proceeding Amanda in death are her maternal grandparents Fred and Lora Brigman Powlas; paternal grandparents Floyd and Mairl Pressley Miller.

Those left to cherish her memory are her devoted husband Jason Gunn of Fletcher; Son Camden M. Gunn of Fletcher; Daughter Addison R. Gunn of Fletcher; Sister Traci Hawkins (Jeff) of Asheville; Brother Brett Miller(Sereitha) of Asheville; Nieces Hali Hawkins Presley Miller; Reagan Tilley; Shania Beckner;; Nephews Hunter Hawkins; Truck Miller; Uncles Ben Miller of Candler; Jerry Miller(Avis) of Cruso, Aunt Sheila Lyons of Rockledge, FL and her dogs Java and Mocha.

 

A Celebration of life will be held Sunday, February 13, 2022 at 3 PM at Trinity of Fairview.

The Family will receive friends and hour prior from 2 PM to 3 PM Sunday, February 13, 2022 at Trinity of Fairview.

Burial will follow Celebration of Life at Ashelawn Gardens of Memory, Asheville, NC.

 

Memorials may be made to Eblen Charities or the college fund for her children at the State Employees Credit Union.
