Anita Frances (Faulkner) Plemmons

Anita Frances Faulkner Plemmons, age 77, of Asheville, NC, passed away on Sunday, April 24, 2022, at her residence.

Anita was born on July 17, 1944, in Buncombe Co., NC to the late J. D. Faulkner and Katherine Kennerly. She attended West Asheville Presbyterian Church and had retired from her job as an inspector at Williams Plating Company. She had also been employed for 25 years at Ticar Chemical Co., Inc.  She was a strong woman with a wonderful sense of humor. She enjoyed riding motorcycles, going to the races, and fishing. Most importantly, Anita was a loving mother and grandmother and cherished her family and friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Ronald O. Plemmons, Sr.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are her sons, Ronald O. Plemmons, Jr. and his wife, Sara of Leicester, NC and James Dayton Plemmons and his girlfriend, Theresa Stafford, of Asheville; a grandson, Nathan Plemmons, of Charlotte, NC; two granddaughters, Jennifer Plemmons of Leicester and Brandi Plemmons of Asheville;  three great-grandsons, Kayden Hensley of Leicester, Jesse and Jeremiah Waldrop, both of Asheville; and a great-granddaughter, Katherine Owens of Asheville.

A private burial will take place at Pisgah View Memorial Park at a later date.
