Ann (MacSorley) Strickland

          Ann MacSorley Strickland, age 62, of Furman Avenue in Asheville, passed away on Wednesday, April 1, 2020 at her home.  She was born in McDowell County, North Carolina on September 29, 1957.  Ann was most recently employed at Harris Teeter in Asheville.  She was preceded in death by her sons, Matthew Strickland and Jason Glenn. Ann is survived by her grandchildren, Isabella Glenn, Jarod Glenn, Haley Glenn, and Violet Cook.  She also included in her circle of family Lisa Cook, Lee Morrison, Anita Rose, and Sam Cook, all of Asheville, and Pauline Perry and Sarah Cook, of Roanoke, VA. 

          There will be no service at this time. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, contributions in Ann’s memory be made to the Haywood Street Congregation at 297 Haywood Street, Asheville, NC 28801 or BeLoved Asheville at 39 Grove Street, Asheville, NC 28801.
