Ann Marie (Tipton) Wright

Mrs. Ann Marie Wright, age 76, of Pickens, South Carolina passed away at home on Wednesday, October 23, 2024.

Ann was born to Carl and Gloria Tipton on June 26, 1948, in Bangor, Maine.

Formerly of Sumter, South Carolina.

She was an educator for many years, teaching chemistry and physics. Mrs. Wright enjoyed painting, wood burning, and reading in her free time.

Mrs. Wright is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, Don Wright; son, David Troy Wright (Ashley); grandchildren, Collier Montana Wright, Skylar Evelyn Wright, Sadine Brooks, Alexander Brooks; and great-grandchild, Zion Tiang.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, November 16, 2024, at 11 AM at Cane Creek Cemetery in Fairview, NC, with Pastor Allen Rash officiating.
