Anthony Clyde Peterson

Anthony Clyde “Tony” Peterson, 77, of Asheville passed away Sunday, May 19, 2024 at Care Partners Solace Center in Asheville, NC.

Anthony was born December 15, 1946 in Asheville, NC, he was a son of the late Clyde Peterson and Elizabeth Gardner. He was a graduate of Owen High School class of 1966 and was a member of the Moose Lodge. Of his many hobbies, hunting and fishing were among his favourites.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by brothers, John P. Peterson and Jeffrey L. Peterson. Surviving are his daughters, Michelle Justice of Marion, NC, and Tricia Smith of Tampa, FL; brothers, Lewis Michael Peterson of Nebo, NC, Paul Girtus Peterson of Asheville, NC, and Daniel Joseph Peterson of Houston, TX; and grandchildren, Tiffany Justice of Asheville, NC, Rachel Sizemore of Asheville, NC, and Asa Sizemore of Brevard, NC.

No public services will be held.
