Beth Elaine (Fore) Merrill

Beth Elaine Merrill, age 60, of Asheville, NC, went to her eternal home with Jesus, Tuesday morning, September 13, 2022.

She was born on December 27, 1961, in Buncombe County, to Alice Joan Fore and the late Bruce Edward Fore.

Beth had a beautiful spirit and was always optimistic. She was a very bright, creative and artistic woman. She could draw anything, made beautiful wood carvings, and loved to crochet and knit. She loved to sing and could often be found doing so in her beautiful alto voice. She was a stay-at-home mother and provided in home care for the disabled for many years. Beth treated everyone she met the same, with kindness, and loved her family unconditionally.

In addition to her mother Joan Fore, Beth leaves behind her husband of 33 years, Jeff Merrill; two sons, Brandon (Liz) Shope, and Jordan Merrill; a daughter, Holly (Todd Franklin) Shope; six grandchildren, Delia, Luke, Jake,

 Josey, Peyton and Paige; three sisters, Alice (Ron) Knighten, Brenda Fore, and Darlene (Reggie) Rickman, all of Asheville; and many wonderful friends and extended family.

A Celebration of Beth’s Life will be held on Saturday, September 17, 2022, at 11:00 AM at One Focus Church, 372 Bee Tree Rd., Swannanoa, NC, conducted by Reverend Carson Gasperson.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests a random act of kindness be done in her memory.
