Betty Lee (Stoffel) Williams

Betty "Bea" Lee Stoffel Williams, age 73, of Swannaoa, NC, passed away on December 9, 2024, at Mission Hospital in Asheville, NC.

Bea was born on June 16, 1951, in Maxton, NC, to the late Ernest Lee Stoffel and Betty Carlyle Williams Stoffel. She attended Myers Park High School and graduated with a bachelor's degree from Warren Wilson College and her Masters degree in Counseling from Western Carolina University. She retired from Buncombe County Social Services. Bea grew up attending First Presbyterian Church in Charlotte, NC, and recently attended Swannanoa First Baptist Church of Swannanoa.

In addition to her parents, Bea was preceded in death by her brother, Bob Stoffel. Those left behind to cherish her memory are her son, John Follet of Swannanoa; brother, Lee Stoffel; sister, Bonnie Stoffel; and her Ex- Husband and faithful friend, Darren Kitto of Swannanoa.
