Bill Roland

Bill Roland, age 80, of Asheville, NC, passed away Sunday, September 14, 2025, surrounded by his loving family.

Bill was born on August 21, 1945 in Asheville, NC. Preceded in death by daughter, Martha White; parents, Frank and Mary Ann Roland; sisters, Faye and Hope.

Bill is survived by his wife of 60 years, Vivian Roland; son, David Roland (April); daughter, Donna Hall (Steve); grandchildren; Rhonda Mclain, Ryan White (Rose), Jessica Greene, Cindy Herwig (John); great grandchildren, Devin, Jayden, Mataya, Emma Ball, Waylon White.

Bill was a loving husband, dad, and papaw. He enjoyed time with his family, camping, and traveling. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and racing. Bill was a truck driver who used the CB handle Easy Rider while employed with Milan and GO grocery. He received a reward for safely driving a million miles.

Bill will be missed by many who enjoyed his joking personality.

He will remain in the hearts of his family, who will greatly miss his warm hugs and loving personality.

                This is not goodbye but… WE WILL SEE YOU LATER!!

Bill will be laid to rest at Skyview Memorial Park.
