Charles Blevins Obituary
Charles Ollis Blevins, age 89. Of Mars Hill, NC, passed away on February 22, 2022, at Elderberry Healthcare in Marshall, NC.
Charles was born on August 28, 1932, in Burnsville, NC to the late William Blevins and Ada Silver. He worked in the construction industry as a carpenter and served his country proudly in the United States Army.
In addition to his parents, Charles was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Ann Horton; four brothers, Paul, Don, Max, and Howard; and a sister, Barbara.
Those left behind to cherish his memory are his son, Keith Blevins; two daughters, Morgan (Jeff) Willard and Julie (Earl) Woodard; a brother, Lewis (Leta) Blevins; three granddaughters, Connie (Mike) Web, Kimberly Colvard and Patricia Butler.
Mr. Blevins will be laid to rest at Western Carolina State Veterans Cemetery, 962 Old US Hwy 70, Black Mountain, NC on Wednesday, March 9, 2022, at 10:00 AM with military honors performed by the North Carolina National Guard Honor Guard.
