Charles Edward Chapman, age 86, of Asheville, went to meet his Lord and Savior on Wednesday, August 12, 2020. He was born on October 9, 1933 in Transylvania, NC to the late Garland and Cathleen Chapman. Charles was a United States Army Veteran, a long standing member of the Asheville Community, and was also a very talented musician and singer. He will be remembered and missed greatly. We will rejoice upon seeing him again in Heaven.
Along with his parents, he was also preceded in death by his brother, Henry "Bud" Chapman of Brevard, NC. Charles is survived by his children, Eddie, Sandy and Donnie; his wife, Louise and their children, Charles and Frank; his grandchildren, Phillip, Kevin, Rebecca, Mikayla and Lake.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests that memorial contributions be sent to Tamassee Daughters of the American Revolution School, P.O. Box 8, Tamassee, SC, 29686.
