Charles Hunter Obituary

Charles "Charlie" Eugene Hunter, age 82, of Asheville, NC, passed away on Wednesday, December 4, 2024, at Aston Park Healthcare Center in Asheville.

Charlie was born on July 8, 1942 to the late Lloyd and Gladys Ball Hunter. He graduated from Clyde A. Erwin High School and worked as a barber at Biltmore Barber Shop in Asheville.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are his adored wife of 61 years, Mary Alice Mathis Hunter; sons Jeff (Anita) Hunter of Canton, NC and Jason Hunter of Asheville; grandson Tyler (Hannah) Hunter of Wake Forest, NC; granddaughter Olivia Hunter of Canton; great-grandchildren Noah Hunter, Collin Hunter and Claire Hunter of Wake Forest.
