Chloe Joy McGuinness, age 29, of Swannanoa, NC, passed away on Saturday, October 19, 2024 in Swannanoa.
Chloe was born on November 18, 1994 in Nantucket Island, MA to Steven Barry McGuinness and Tina Marie Coker McGuinness both of Swannanoa. She graduated high school at Wade Hampton High in Greenville, SC and obtained her license as Certified Nurse Assistant after high school. In 2009 she was flyer for the JV Cheerleaders at Owen High School, which won the NC State Title. Chloe was an excellent cook and had a flair for decorating. She was known for her strikingly beautiful long red hair and sweet smile. She was preceded in death by her grandfather, R.W. "Skip" Coker and brother, Isaiah McGuinness.
In addition to her parents those left behind to cherish her memory are her children, ten year old daughter Nova Hellams and seven year old son, Kingston Davidson; brothers, Myles McGuinness of Greenville, SC, Seth McGuinness of Greenville and Laz McGuinness of Swannanoa; sister Candace McGuinness of Taylors, SC; grandmother, Kathy Coker of Taylors, SC and nephew Ayden McGuinness of Greer, SC.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 9, 2024 in the Chapel of Penland Family Funeral Home, 125 South Avenue, Swannanoa, NC at 11:00 AM.
