Curtis Steven Brown

Curtis Steven Brown, 88, of Asheville, NC, passed away on Tuesday, August 27, 2024 at Mission Hospital in Asheville, NC.

Born March 15, 1936 in Henderson County, NC, he was a son of the late Samuel and Ella Brown. He proudly served in the U.S. Army and was a lifetime member of the VFW post 591.

He attended Bethel U.M.C., where he will be laid to rest next to his beloved wife, Mary June Clark Brown. In addition to his parents and wife, he is preceded in death by all nine of his siblings.

Surviving are his children, Gregory Brown of Asheville, Douglas  Brown of Kernersville, and Amanda Brown of Asheville; and grandchildren, Christian Brown and Caden Russell.

No public services will be held at this time.
