Curtiss David Wagner, age 79, of Canton, NC, passed away on Monday, April 25, 2022, at the John F. Keever, Jr. Solace Center in Asheville.
Curtiss was born on December 28, 1942, in Guilford Co., to the late Charles G. Wagner and Oka Ora Morgan.
He served his country proudly in the United States Marine Corps during the Vietnam War era. Curtiss was a member of Welcome Home Ministries in Canton and was retired. He was a family man who was very close to his family and loved spending time with them visiting or talking on the phone. Most of all, he loved God. Curtiss was very active at his church and loved his church family. He also enjoyed listening to country and gospel music. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Charles G. Wagner, Jr.; and a sister, Louise Walden.
Those left behind to cherish his memory are his two sisters, Sinda A. Conrad of Canton, and Lucille (J.W.) Burnette of Sanford; two brothers, Ray (Rita) Wagner of Lexington, and Lawrence (Ok) Wagner of Florissent, MO.
A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, May 15, 2022 at 2:30 PM at Welcome Home Ministries in Canton, NC.
