Davie "David" Howard Suttle

Davie “David” Howard Suttle, age 72, of Asheville, NC passed away on Tuesday, November 1, 2022, at the John F. Keever, Jr. Solace Center in Asheville.

David was born on August 28, 1950, in Yancey County to Dorothy Green and the late Cecil Howard Suttle.

He was a jack-of-all-trades and enjoyed helping people fix their vehicles. He loved playing pool and he liked to do things his way.

In addition to his father, David was preceded in death by his brother, Jack Suttle.

In addition to his mother, David is survived by his loving girlfriend of five years, Katherine Sprouse of Asheville; two brothers, Joey Suttle and Robert Rice, both of Asheville; a sister, Mickey Wilson of Asheville; two sons, David M. (Roxanne) Suttle of Asheville and Zachary Suttle of Waynesville, NC; and four granddaughters, Jaihla Suttle, Victoria Suttle, Raven Suttle, and Skylar Suttle, all of Asheville.

A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, November 13, 2022 at 1:00 PM in the chapel of Penland Family Funeral Home conducted by Pastor Alf Miller.
