Diane Hyatt Proctor

Diane Hyatt Proctor, 53, of Asheville, NC, passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 22, 2025, at the Elizabeth House in Flat Rock, NC. Born September 30, 1971 in Asheville, NC.

 She was the daughter of the late Robert and Joan Hyatt. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Richard Proctor; son, James Saunders; and sister, Sandra Hyatt. She worked at Ingles for over 15 years before resigning to stay at home to raise her children.

Surviving are her partner, Timothy M. Pressley; children, Johnathan Saunders of Old Fort, NC, and Christine Elizabeth Proctor of Asheville, NC; brother, Eric Hyatt and his spouse, Angela, of Swannanoa, NC; niece, Hannah Hyatt; and nephew, Matthew Hyatt.

 A memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, March 5, 2025, in the chapel of Penland Family Funeral Home in Swannanoa, NC, with the family receiving friends an hour before the service.
