Donald Bruce Creasman

Donald “Pops” Bruce Creasman, 69, of Asheville, NC passed away Sunday, February 1, 2026 at Mountain Ridge Health and Rehabilitation.
Born December 5, 1956 in Buncombe County, NC, he was a son of the late Perry and Neil Creasman. He proudly served in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Vietnam War and retired from Hi Tec machine after several years of service. He was an avid Jeff Gordon fan and enjoyed watching NASCAR, was a member of the American Poolplayers Association where he played in 8-ball tournaments, enjoyed playing a round of golf whenever the opportunity arose, and was a gamer utilizing his X-BOX console the most.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Douglas Herman Creasman. Surviving are his children, Clinton B. Creasman and his spouse, Crystal, of Asheville, NC, and Hannah E. Creasman of Black Mountain, NC; siblings, Roy Hensley and David Creasman and his spouse, Deb, all of Asheville, NC, Dan Creasman of Swannanoa, NC, and Mary “Missy” Creasman of Waynesville, NC; and grandchildren, Haven Daves, Kameron Creasman, Carter Creasman, and Della Creasman.

A memorial service will be held at 4 PM on Monday, February 9, 2026 in the chapel of Penland Family Funeral Home in Swannanoa, NC.
