Dorothy Ann (Mann) Flynn

Dorothy Ann Mann Flynn, 72, of Buncombe County, NC passed away at Elizabeth House on July 23, 2026. Born on December 27, 1953 in Junction City, KS to the late Raymond Mann and Darlene Mann.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in passing by her son, Christopher Flynn; grandson, Joseph Flynn; and her sister; Kathy DeLaire.

Dorothy was a member of Bethel Baptist Church in Mills River, NC.

Dorothy is survived by her spouse of 53 years, Morris Leander Flynn of Asheville, NC; her daughter, Jamie Flynn of Asheville, NC; her son of Asheville, NC; her three brothers and one sister of Kansas; her one sister of Texas; her grandson, Zack Norton of Marion, NC; her granddaughter, Shelby Norton of Rutherfordton, NC; her great grandchildren, Emma, Lily, and Axel; and many nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held on August 1, 2026, at 2 PM at Bethel Baptist Church at 5680 Old Haywood Road, Mills River, NC 28759. Scott Moody will be officiating.
