Earl Buckner Lewis, III

Earl “Bucky” Buckner Lewis, III, age 44, of Swannanoa, NC, passed away on Sunday, July 9, 2023, at the John F. Keever, Jr. Solace Center in Asheville, NC.

Bucky was born on March 3, 1979, in Buncombe County to Earl “Buck” B. Lewis, Jr. and the late Teresa Penland Lewis.  He was a 1997 graduate of Charles D. Owen High School.

Bucky was a kind-hearted man. He enjoyed music and being outdoors. Most of all, Bucky loved his family and he will be deeply missed.

In addition to his mother, Bucky was preceded in death by his son, Damian Matthew Lewis.

Along with his father, Buck Lewis of Black Mountain, those left behind to cherish his memory are his wife, Amanda Peek Lewis of Black Mountain, NC; a daughter, Trinity Celeste Lewis of Black Mountain, NC; and a brother, David Lewis, of Swannanoa, NC.

A Memorial Service will be announced at a later date.
