Eddie Deweese

Eddie Deweese, age 70, of Weaverville, N.C. entered into his forever home on Saturday, November 15, 2025 after an eight-month battle with pancreatic cancer.

Eddie spent 42 years as a parts representative with Toyota Dealerships, most recently retiring from Fred Anderson Toyota of Asheville. Previously, he had many years with Jim Barkley Toyota of Asheville and earlier in his career with Carolina Toyota of Hendersonville. Eddie cherished his customers, and they ultimately became good friends. He was a loving husband, dad, son, granddad and great granddad.  His passions were old cars especially Mustangs, family time and the lake.

Eddie was preceded in death by his mother Gladys Metcalf Deweese and grandson Gavin Deweese. He is survived by his loving wife Rita Deweese; father Bobby DeWeese; son Jason Deweese and wife Megan; Rita’s children, Wendy and husband Chuck and John; grandchildren Jillian Deweese, Savannah and husband Bob, Shyanne and husband Nic, Chuck Jr. and Talan; great-grandchildren Case, R.J. and Lane.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
