Frances Marie (Hersey) Zarzycki

Frances Marie Zarzycki, 78, of Asheville went home to be with her Lord on Monday, July 25, 2022.

 Born September 4, 1943, in Ty Ty, Ga, she was a daughter of the late, Daniel and Doris Hersey. 

She was a graduate of Paxon Senior High School in Jacksonville, FL and was a member of Skyland First Baptist Church.  She enjoyed hunting for shark’s teeth along the beach and working in her beautiful flower gardens. 

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her first spouse, Mark Zarzycki. 

Surviving is her spouse, J.W.  Fore; children, Lisa Ponder and her spouse, Robert, of Fairview, NC, Amy Shuman and her spouse, Troy, of Ponte Vedra, FL, Andrew Zarzycki of Jacksonville, FL, Scott Zarzycki and his spouse, April, of Metter, GA, and Jeremy Zarzycki of Pensacola, FL; sisters, Evelyn Carter of Swannanoa, NC, and Diane Kirby and her spouse, Mason, of Live Oak, FL; seventeen grandchildren; and 15 great grandchildren.

 A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, August 1, 2022, at Skyland First Baptist Church with Pastor Robert Ponder officiating. 

The family will receive friends following the service.

 A private burial will be held at the Western Carolina State Veteran’s Cemetery in Black Mountain.
