Gary Dean Allen

Gary Dean Allen, age 60, of Fairview, NC, went home to be with his heavenly Father, on Wednesday, February 22, 2023 at Mission Hospital in Asheville, NC.

Gary was born on March 10, 1962, in Buncombe County to Marjorie Ann Stines Allen and the late Ausy Lou Allen.

He was a Christian man who loved his Lord and loved his family deeply. Gary was very active at his church, Trinity of Fairview, and was a deacon. He worked at T. E. Connectivity in Fairview. Gary was also a  quiet and humble man, who enjoyed being outdoors and going fishing.

In addition to his mother, Marjorie Allen, Gary is survived by his wife and best friend of 38 years, Sheila Wilson Allen of the home; a daughter, Amber Allen of Swannanoa, NC; a son, Zack (fiancé Amber Tech) Allen of Flat Rock, NC; two brothers, Ken (Suzanne) Allen of Arden, NC and Joe (Mona) Allen of Fairview, NC; two granddaughters, McKenzie Settle of Swannanoa, NC and Olivia Allen of Fairview, NC; beloved mother and father in law, Bill and Geri Wilson of Fairview, NC; brother and sister in law, Duane and Kim Wilson of Fairview, NC; one niece; and three nephews.

A Celebration of Gary’s Life will be held on Sunday, February 26, 2023, at 3:00 PM at Trinity of Fairview, 646 Concord Rd., Fletcher, NC 28732, conducted by Pastor Stacey Harris.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM.
