Georgia Dale Sherlin, age 75, of Weaverville, NC, passed away at Solace Care Center, Friday, January 6, 2023.
She was a tribute to anyone who knew her.
Family and Friends all remember her for so many reasons, from feeding anybody to everybody. What was hers, was yours, no matter what. We can't say enough about her. She was the best, funniest, craziest mama anybody could have ever ask for. Anyone she met, she made some type of impact in their lives.
She is preceded in death by her mother and father, George and Irene Sherlin, and her sister Diann Deaver.
She is survived by her children Frank Sherlin (Annette) of Asheville, NC; Debbie King (Mark) of Weaverville, NC; Keith Christopher(Sonya) of Burnsville, NC; Sonya Christopher of Weaverville; and Tonya Christopher of Weaverville,Nehehemiah Son; 6 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren; sister Ina Sherlin of Weaverville; Debbie Moore of Weaverville and Brother Wayne Sherlin of Texas,
A Funeral Service will be held Thursday, January 12, 2023 at 11 am at Ray Chapel Church, 28 Wooten Cove Rd, Weaverville, NC 28787. The Family will receive friends an hour prior from 10 am to 11 am. Interment will be at Chandler Cemetery, off of Lula Cove Road, Weaverville, NC following services. Reverend Eric Sams and Reverend Cotton Banks officiating.
