Harry Talmadge Linder, Jr.

          Harry Talmadge Linder, Jr., age 72, of Asheville, NC, passed away on Wednesday, January 27, 2021 at his home. He was born on April 19, 1948 in Haywood County, NC to the late Harry T. Linder, Sr. and Mary Alice Palmer Linder. Harry was a United States Navy Veteran, then worked as a machinist for Continental Teves Brake Pad Manufacturing Company in Arden and was a member of Newbridge Baptist Church in Asheville.

            Along with his parents, Harry was also preceded in death by his beloved wife, Jane Mehaffey Linder who passed away on October 1, 2008 and a younger sister, Alice Linder Gullette . Those left behind to cherish his memory are his loving siblings, John Linder of Atlanta, GA and Mary Rebecca "Becky" Linder Hensley (Donnie) of Weaverville.

            A graveside memorial service with military honors will be held on Wednesday, February 24, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Shepherd Memorial Park, 5045 Asheville Hwy, Hendersonville, NC 28791, conducted by Pastor Clark Henderson. Penland Family Funeral Home is honored to be caring for the Linder Family and assisting them with arrangements.
