Jacob Elijah Brewington

Jacob “Jake” Elijah Brewington, 21, of Hendersonville, NC, passed away on Monday, May 19, 2025, at Mission Hospital in Asheville, NC.

Born August 6, 2003, in Cary, NC, he was the son of Ben and Marci Brewington of Belton, SC. He graduated from Henderson County Career Academy class of 2021 and was employed by Amazon as a delivery driver. He had just signed to play football for Asheville’s semi-pro team, Asheville A-Team, of the Central Carolina Football League.

In addition to his passion for football, he enjoyed watching Dragon Ball Z, exploring muscle cars, and spending time with his family.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his spouse, Mikayla Howell; daughter, Heidi Brewington; and siblings, Ben Brewington II and his finance, Kayla Gordon, of Hendersonville, NC, and Madison Brewington of Belton, SC.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
