James Walter Taylor Jr.

          James Walter Taylor Jr., age 55, of Cameron, passed away on Saturday, May 16, 2020 at Betsy Johnson Hospital in Dunn. He was born on October 26, 1964 in Buncombe County to the late James W. Taylor Jr. and Dallas Ward Taylor. Along with his parents, James is also preceded in death by his brother, Clarence Taylor who passed away on October 21, 2001. He is survived by his fiancé of 12 years, Mary Raines; his sons, Jammie Taylor (Michelle Stafford) of Swannanoa and Dustin Nicholson of City View, SC; his nephew, Charles Taylor; and his sisters, Rebecca Taylor of Barnardsville, Lou Taylor of Leicester, and Linda of Virginia.
          A graveside service will be held at 11am, Friday, May 22, 2020 at Riverview Cemetery in Asheville. The Rev. Dr. Jeff Dowdy will be officiating.
